Pano2VR, Showcase

Panedia is a large project taking place in Australia - incorporating over 3000 hi quality panos. One of the newest and most interesting/clever features is the site’s ability to automatically create hotspots with each panorama using GPS data other algorithms from nearby views. The hotspot window also contains the distance & bearing to that panorama from the one you are in.

View an example here - the guys at Panedia are not stopping here so expect big announcements in the future.

I love Panedia, I like the fact that its images of a great country. I do wonder where they are going with it. Its cool shit but I`m wondering why so many tours? There must be a hidden plan!

Nice. But a Gentleman always hides his tripod.

I hear you! - 3000 photo stitches!! Sometimes perfection can make you loose sight of the big picture.

I am sure the “non pano public” who are enjoying the great tours are not worrying too much.
